My journey from doubt to delight
Much to my surprise, the room was well-maintained and offered great cleanliness. The breakfast surpassed my expectations with hot options like eggs and sausage.
Despite the pleasant atmosphere, noise from outside disrupted my stay, and security concerns made me uneasy as the doors felt unsecured.

Couple looking for value
I had a good experience at this place. It was really clean, and the breakfast was surprisingly great-the eggs were hot and the bacon was crispy, just how I like it.
It wasn’t cheap, but acceptable, I guess.

I really enjoyed my stay at Gateway Lodge. The room I had, a Queen Room, was spacious and very clean. The bed felt incredibly comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. Breakfast exceeded my expectations with a nice homemade vibe. Options included eggs and waffles, and I appreciated the variety. The staff were welcoming and offered helpful local tips during check-in, which made settling in easy. Location-wise, everything was close by and handy for outdoor activities and dining. On the downside, the outside of the building could definitely use some repairs. it looked a bit rundown and the second-level walkway was in need of replacement. Also, there wasn't a closet or hanging space for clothes, which could be a hassle for longer stays. But overall, my experience at Gateway Lodge was enjoyable and I would return for the value and cleanliness.

Great Overnight Stay with Cozy Amenities
We enjoyed our one-night stay in a Queen Room. The complimentary breakfast offered waffles and pastries—perfect for a quick bite! The staff was friendly but note that morning shifts may speak primarily Spanish. Keep a plunger handy if there are toilet issues, as the locals mentioned recent sewer upgrades.

Pleasant stay with a generous breakfast
I recently stayed for one night in a spacious Queen Room that was very clean and well-equipped with a mini-fridge and microwave. The breakfast was a standout feature, offering a great variety including hot items and fresh fruit, which set a positive tone for my day. The staff were welcoming and provided helpful local tips, enhancing the overall experience. However, I felt that the noise from outside could be a concern for light sleepers.

The place was surprisingly clean and had comfortable beds. Friendly staff definitely made the experience better. However, the lack of a closet was an inconvenience, and the outer appearance of the hotel could use some work. A great breakfast spread helped brighten the morning.

comfortable stay with room for improvement
The room I stayed in was large , clean , and tidy. I appreciated the spacious layout that allowed for organization of my belongings. The location was quiet , yet conveniently close to essential amenities like restaurants and shops. The mountain view from the room added a refreshing touch to my stay.
Though I enjoyed my visit , the breakfast options could be more diverse.

I had a fantastic time here, enjoying the short stroll to centennial park and indulging in delicious food just a few steps away at brickhouse pizzeria, making it a fun and convenient spot for anyone looking to explore the area comfortably. the room was clean and offered everything needed for a pleasant stay, although the street noise could be bothersome at times, especially in the evening.
